WTF? What’s the Future and Why It’s Up to Us, by Tim O’Reilly.

What is it about?: The automation of tasks previously carried out by humans and the changes in business models can generate uncertainty in some people, who wonder what will be their professional future. Tim O'Reilly reflects in this book on the impact of artificial intelligence, big data or robotics in the workplace. These technologies are tools at human service, with great potential to improve our world, but, for this, we must make the right decisions, and pay more attention to technology, science and creativity.

Doing Data Science, by Rachel Schutt and Cathy O´Neil.

What is it about?: This book tries to explain to readers one of the most demanded professions of recent years: the data scientist. Rachel Schutt and Cathy O'Neil collect success stories from companies such as Google, Microsoft and eBay, and share the algorithms, methods, models and codes used. The content is based on the “Introduction to Data Science” class at Columbia University.

R for Data Science, by Garrett Grolemund and Hadley Wickham
